In an emergency or crisis situation, 西北大学 immediately notifies students and employees.
Additional measures will be taken if the situation warrants.
设陷阱捕兽者警报 may also be used to warn students about events/situations on or off campus that can pose an ongoing or continuing threat to individuals or property. Timely warnings will be issued when information is received by the college about pertinent infractions in the community involving —
*When you enroll in classes, you are automatically enrolled in the NWC Emergency Notification System. However, you should check your MyNWC periodically to make sure your phone number is up-to-date.
Emergency phones with blue strobe lights are located on several high-traffic walkways on campus. As soon as you push the button, your call is put through to 911.

注意: the Evacuation Guide can be found on pages 11-12. Be sure to familiarize yourself with your building's evacuation location ASAP, so you know where to go should you hear the alarm bells go off.
Expect to be involved in fire drills at 西北大学. They’ll come when it’s snowing, in the middle of the night, whenever you least expect, but sometimes they’ll also get you out of class and into the sunshine on nice, 温暖的日子.
西北大学的 年度安全 & 消防安全报告 contains NWC's safety policy statements and crime statistics for the past three years. The policy statements address the school's policies, procedures and programs concerning safety and security, 例如, policies for responding to emergency situations and sexual offenses.
